How to exercise your privacy rights or ask about personal information
Privacy enquiries
Orion provides Shopify applications, including Orion Blend and Orion Blog, through Fortress Fulfillment Ltd. You can contact us if you have a question or request concerning personal information handled in connection with our applications.
Email David Burkart at david@orionapps.co.uk. Depending on applicable law, you may ask to access your information, correct an error, request deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, or exercise another available right.
What to include
Tell us which Orion application and Shopify store are involved, if known, and describe the request. Please provide a safe way for us to respond. Do not send passwords, API tokens, payment information or identity documents with your initial message.
To protect personal information, we may request limited additional details where needed to verify identity or authority before disclosing or changing records.
Requests involving a merchant's customers
Shopify merchants are responsible for their stores and the customer relationships they administer. If your question relates to a purchase, customer account or order held by a merchant, contact that merchant first where possible. The merchant may be best placed to identify the relevant records and initiate applicable Shopify privacy requests.
You may also contact Orion directly when your request concerns information processed by us.
How requests are handled
We review the request, determine our responsibilities and respond within the time required by applicable law. Where relevant, we may work with the merchant or Shopify to locate the information involved.
Some records may need to be retained when required or permitted by law, including for security, accounting or legal purposes. If we cannot fulfil a request fully, we will explain the reason where appropriate.
Shopify privacy processes
Shopify supports formal privacy requests concerning access to customer data, deletion of customer data and deletion of shop data after an app is uninstalled. Orion handles requests received through the applicable Shopify privacy processes alongside enquiries sent directly to our privacy contact.
